About 1 year into my subscription to Crate Crochet. What a wonderful idea!! Every box is a joy to receive. I have been crocheting for decades and it is so exciting to get every box because each project teaches me something I didn't know. Perhaps it is a new stitch or a whole new way to make something. This month I learned about C2C (Corner to Corner) projects. Didn't even know there was such a thing. I will use that C2C technique to create kids blankets for the Linus Project. The kids will love them. Carmela Ann does a wonderful job staying in contact and giving all subscribers a truly fun and informative experience. Oh, one more thing, I am in California.

Almost two months ago I wrapped up the beginner series of crates, and I have to say these boxes have been invaluable in helping me with my newfound crocheting hobby. I found out almost immediately when I began to learn that looking at written pattern, or a chart on paper was overwhelming. When I discovered your crates I was excited to find something designed specifically for beginners - I haven't seen anything else like that. I was definitely so happy to see that there was actually photos step by step to go with the words! It's such a unique crate that it has definitely been worth the several week wait for it to arrive each month over here in Canada.
I'm going to be spending a little time catching up on the last few beginner ones & practicing the patterns that came with them. After that I'll definitely be back when I'm ready for more advanced patterns, hopefully before the holidays. So thank you for creating something so lovely!

I just got my first crate, and am absolutely delighted with it.
