SUBSCRIPTION BOXES: 

WHAT WILL I RECEIVE? 

A subscription box is a package of monthly crochet yarn with a pattern to complement the featured yarn. Our Classic Crate Subscription Box also has a hook and some extra goodies. The Yarnaholics box contains simply our current months yarn and pattern only! Our complete beginners box is a course of 6 lessons, delivered monthly, teaching you everything you need to know to become an accomplished crocheter. Complete with detailed, printed step-by-step lessons, together with the yarn, tools and pattern for each included project. Once a month you will receive your subscription box with enough yarn to complete the particular project from one of our guest designers. A 'What's in the Box' introduces you to each item and there will also be some special offers from our carefully chosen suppliers, details of our monthly shop offers. We will also have giveaway prizes via our Instagram and Facebook pages. Members receive special discounts for our Crochet Shop.


HOW MUCH WILL THE BOXES BE? 

Our Complete Beginners Course Crate comes with step by step lessons and pattern, each box is AUD31 + shipping. The beginners course is delivered monthly for 6 months with a special offer to upgrade in your last lesson 6. Classic Crate boxes are AUD38 + shipping. Yarnaholic boxes are priced at AUD28 + shipping. The RRP of the contents of each box are always guaranteed to be greater than the box price. Our shipping partners are mainly Australia Post & Sendle for Australia and DHL Ecommerce who handle our international parcels which are then transferred to the Postal Service of your country, you will also receive shipping and separate tracking notification of your order to the email you signed up with.


HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

We ship our subscription boxes and online shop orders all over Australia via Australia Post eParcel, Parcel Post or Express Post, the costs of which for businesses are determined by weight, quantity, fuel surcharges and destinations.  This is the same for international orders provided by DHL eCommerce.  We cannot control these costs or shipping lanes.  Costs are automated through our Australia Post calculator links in our online shop and via our fulfillment software relative to current charges, however, we aim to keep them to the minimum possible in order to avoid running our business at a loss.

Due to recent global changes in import GST/Tax and/or other customs duties, Crate Crochet highly recommend customers check their local customs thresholds before purchasing goods from overseas online ecommerce stores. When you purchase from CrateCrochet from outside of Australia you are agreeing to resolve any duties applicable with your local Customs Agency.


PLEASE NOTE:  Shipping costs are subject to change by DHLeCommerce and Australia Post which is out of our control, however, we will always aim to offer the best value for the size/weight of each parcel.)


Australian orders take would normally take 2-7 days, international orders would normally take 5-14 business days for delivery (dependent on your location).   Please refer to your local shipping carriers for latest info on delays and restrictions.  Costs for Domestic and International tracked shipping are shown at checkout, (these may vary according to our carrier's charges).


CAN I BUY A BOX WITHOUT A SUBSCRIPTION?

Yes absolutely! The best way to try out a full Crate Crochet box, without committing to a recurring subscription, is to gift yourself a one!  Simply select the gift option which is available at checkout, with the option to renew or not renew at expiry.  Gift subscriptions expire on the next renewal date which is currently the 1st day of each month.


WHAT ELSE DOES MY SUBSCRIPTION GIVE ME? 

Within your monthly subscription boxes will be vouchers or discounts for our online store as well as special offers only available to members. We plan to introduce a referral programme, competitions and giveaways. The beginner course boxes will run for 6 months, and you will then have the opportunity to change to the Yarnaholics or Classic Crate with a special $10.00 discount. If you feel you are ready to move earlier on you can change your subscription at the end of your current billing cycle.

CAN I BUY EXTRA PRODUCTS AND SUPPLIES? 

Yes. We try and include extra stock of our boxed products in our online Shop after they have been received by our members. Non Subscribers can purchase from our Shop also.


WHEN WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO MY MEMBERS ACCOUNT? 

As soon as you subscribe to your chosen crochet box you create your account with immediate access. You can see when your next shipment is due, change your subscription option or skip the next box.


WHEN WILL I GET MY BOX? 

To get the current months subscription box you need to subscribe before 17th of that month which is our cut off date. Automatic recurring billing takes place on the 1st of each month from your chosen payment method. If you order and subscribe between the 18th-30/31st of the month, you will get the following months subscription box. Our website will have the cut of dates displayed. We start to manifest and ship from 19th-22nd of each month.


WHEN WILL PAYMENT BE TAKEN? 

Payment is taken immediately upon subscribing and you will receive the next available box in the next shipping cycle (see ABOVE*)


WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE MY BOX CAN I HAVE A REFUND? 

All Crate Crochet Subscription Boxes are curated and unique and designed to be a surprise, therefore, sales are final. Our boxes always contain premium yarn with an exclusive pattern that caters for a widely diverse range of crocheting skills and personal tastes. It is impossible to perfectly please every single person every single time, however, each and every box sent to you contains carefully selected items which have been tested by fellow crocheters.  The contents are delivered at a collective discounted price.   We suggest gifting yourself a box which does not require a recurring subscription, so you can try us out as a one time purchase.


CAN I TAKE A BREAK? 

Absolutely. Simply login to your subscription account and choose to skip your next renewal. You can skip as many times as you like. Please note if you are on a 3 or 6 month plan you will be skipping the next 3 or 6 months.


WHAT IF I CHOOSE NOT TO CONTINUE? 

You have control!!  We sincerely hope you will love your monthly box, however, if you need to make changes simply log into your account and cancel anytime, or if you just need a break from the boxes simply skip the next box as many times as you wish. Cancellations take effect from your next renewal date. We would hate to lose any of our members and your constructive feedback is always welcome.

SHOP PRODUCTS:

CAN I BUY PAST SUBSCRIPTION BOXES?Due to copyright and agreements with our featured designers we cannot sell their designs to you after the exclusivity period has passed.  You can however purchase our newly introduced Designer Crochet Kits.  For pdf pattern of a recent design, contact our featured designers individually who will be able offer patterns a couple of months after they have been featured.  We will also be selling full priced kits in agreement with and to support our collaborating designers.


WHY DO YOU HAVE A LIMITED RANGE OR PRODUCTS IN YOUR ONLINE STORE?

Our core business is primarily the subscription boxes which take a great deal of time, care and attention to procure, pick, pack and ship.  The products within our online store are usually overstock of pre-ordered items remaining from our subscription boxes or items which have proved to be most popular within our past boxes.  


CAN I ORDER SOMETHING WHICH IS SHOWING AS OUT OF STOCK?

Yes.  If our suppliers still have these items within their current offering we would be delighted to order in any items for you.  Please email us directly to request at hello@cratecrochet.com.au.
